The modern system of foreign language education requires not only linguistic competence from future teachers but also the development of socio-psychological qualities that ensure effective pedagogical interaction. The professional success of foreign language teachers largely depends on their communication skills, emotional stability, empathy, motivation, self-confidence, and intercultural competence. This article analyzes the socio-psychological characteristics of future foreign language teachers and explains their significance in pedagogical activity. The study highlights that socio-psychological readiness directly influences teaching effectiveness, classroom management, communicative interaction, and learners’ motivation. The integration of socio-psychological approaches into teacher education programs contributes to the formation of professionally competent and psychologically resilient foreign language teachers.Downloads
