Abstract

This article explores the stylistic features of the inner monologue as a narrative technique in modern Uzbek and English novels. It analyzes how writers employ inner speech to reveal characters’ psychological depth, emotional states, and subjective perceptions of reality. Through comparative analysis, the study identifies both universal and culturally specific aspects of inner monologue, highlighting its linguistic, structural, and functional characteristics in the two literary traditions.
