The Role of Arabic Literature in Preserving Islamic Heritage

Abstract

Arabic literature has played a crucial role in preserving and transmitting Islamic heritage across centuries. As the primary medium through which religious, philosophical, historical, and cultural knowledge has been articulated, Arabic literature serves not only as a repository of Islamic teachings but also as a dynamic force shaping Muslim identity and intellectual traditions. This study examines the multifaceted role of Arabic literature in safeguarding Islamic heritage, focusing on its contributions through religious texts, historiography, poetry, and scholarly works.
