Eine Vielschichtige Perspektive In Den Werken Von Hans Bergel: Panorama Der Europäischen Geschichte Des 20. Jahrhunderts

The various sub-literatures exhibit different characteristics, determined by history and status. Evidence of historical poetry and historically imagined panoramic views of the German minority's existence in Romania were viewed as contradicting the idea that German history in this nation had come to an end. However, all of them—except for the German-language literature of Bukovina—apparently shared the view that they essentially saw themselves as preserving their German-speaking minority. Hans Bergel's oeuvre encompasses a pervasive and difficult-to-oversee body of texts. This study focuses only on a small selection of his most important works and examines the impulses that led to the often-praised diversity of Bergel's writings. Bergel is an author whose work is closely connected to the experiences of the 20th century and repeatedly deals with the past in his novels and short stories.
