It highlights the flexibility, accessibility, and individualization it provides while addressing the technical and social challenges that learners may encounter. Furthermore, the article discusses the role of modern technologies, including interactive teaching methods and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), in reshaping the educational environment. Practical recommendations for optimizing distance education are also presented. The prospects of distance education are bright, and its continued development promises to enhance education's accessibility and effectiveness.
