Abstract

This article analyzes informational and ideological threats that negatively affect the minds of young people in the modern information space and reveals the importance of information education in preventing them. Information education is considered as the main pedagogical and psychological means of teaching the younger generation to make a conscious choice based on ideological views, moral norms and social values, and making them immune to negative informational influences. The article analyzes the role and methodology of information education in forming a conscious attitude of young people towards information, ensuring their mental and spiritual stability, and developing critical thinking, thereby creating immunity against various destructive ideas. At the same time, ideological views in national and historical and spiritual sources, approaches to information education based on classical heritage are covered on a deep scientific basis.
