Abstract

The article explores the history of the development of the customs system in Uzbekistan from ancient times to the colonial period. The article examines the role of the customs system in the development of trade, ensuring the security and well-being of the people. Particular attention is paid to the influence of colonial oppression on the customs system of the khanates of Central Asia.
