Abstract

The article examines the issue of marriage relations in early medieval Sogd based on the analysis of two digital documents from the archives of Mount Mug (Nov 3 and Nov 4). The author examines the historical, religious and social foundations of marriage in ancient Zoroastrian society and analyses the content of documents with an emphasis on family and marital relations.
