Abstract

Diabetic nephropathy is a specific kidney damage in diabetes mellitus, characterized by gradual sclerosis of renal tissue, which leads to loss of filtration, nitrogen excretory and other kidney functions. According to recent studies, diabetic nephropathy contains severe inflammatory element caused by metabolic disorders, protein overload and hemodynamic disorders.
