Abstract

This research reveals the level of satisfaction among students and researchers regarding the services provided by the academic library. A key objective of this study is to introduce innovative concepts, such as “smart planning” and the modernization of user manuals through advanced technology. Essential components including websites, internet technology, e-resources, e-journals, and OPAC serve as vital tools for delivering effective and reliable solutions, with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) playing a crucial role in this process. Ultimately, by utilizing mobile platforms, the system creates an optimal and impactful user experience that is pivotal to the efficiency and holistic development of both users and library staff. In essence, it acts as a bridge that fosters a positive, friendly, and more effective relationship between the academic library and its patrons. Powered entirely by technology, this system utilizes RFID technology alongside QR and barcode-based issue-return mechanisms to streamline the entire process, minimizing transaction times and eliminating the need for manual intervention or the presence of a librarian.
