Abstract

In this article, the importance of the laws of thermodynamics in the use of solar energy is analyzed. The process of converting solar radiation into thermal energy is explained on the basis of the law of conservation of energy and the concept of entropy. The operating principles of solar collectors and photovoltaic panels are considered from a thermodynamic point of view. Attention will also be paid to methods of increasing energy efficiency, reducing heat losses, and the rational use of renewable energy sources. The research results show that thermodynamics is an important scientific basis for the development of solar energy.
