Abstract

The development of creative skills and artistic abilities in preschool children is fundamental to their cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Early childhood is a critical period for fostering creativity, as young children possess natural curiosity and an innate drive to explore. This article explores innovative methods for enhancing preschool children's creative and artistic potential. It examines teaching approaches such as Project-Based Learning (PBL), Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), the integration of technology in art, sensory art experiences, storytelling through art, and artistic exploration with nature. These methods aim to make learning interactive, engaging, and tailored to the developmental needs of young children. By promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression, these innovative approaches not only develop artistic abilities but also foster essential life skills such as collaboration, emotional regulation, and independent thinking. The article concludes that integrating these innovative methods into preschool education helps lay the foundation for lifelong creativity, confidence, and a love of learning.
