Abstract

The article analyzes the economic nature of a competitive market and monopoly, as well as their positive and negative aspects. It examines competition policy in the conditions of Uzbekistan, the economic consequences of monopolies, and measures for their regulation. In addition, recommendations are provided for creating a healthy competitive environment and reducing the negative impact of monopolies.
