This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of improving public passenger transport routes. The development of modern cities, the acceleration of urbanization processes, and population growth are imposing new requirements on transport systems. The efficiency of the urban transport network directly affects the convenience of movement for the population, economic activity, and environmental sustainability. During the study, methods for optimizing public transport routes, mechanisms for managing traffic flows, principles for forming routes based on passenger demand, and opportunities for using digital technologies were studied. Based on international experience, the integrated operation of bus, trolleybus, tram, and metro systems was also analyzed.Downloads
