Abstract

Composites of graphitic carbon nitride with various metal oxides are widely used as photocatalysts. They are used as photocatalysts due to ease of synthesis steps, low cost of precursors, and high photocatalytic properties. One such composite photocatalyst is Fe2O3/g-C3N4 doped with Fe2O3.
